What to include in product description?


The more relevant details included in the product description, the more likely a buyer is to purchase the product. Products with good descriptions tend to sell faster than those with no descriptions or few details.

In addition to the following required information, here are some things we strongly suggest that a listing should be having:
  • photo of the actual item being sold; photo grabbing is not advisable (all categories)
  • short synopsis (for books)
  • correct condition (new/used) of the item (all categories)

Note: Insufficient details in the descriptions and irrelevant brands or hashtags may be deboosted, suspended or deleted by our system.
